Solar Energy Information – A Constantly Advancing Arena

Solar energy information is what we seek to provide from the latest advances to information on the care and maintenance of your solar system. The technology solar energy is advancing daily. MIT is working on the technology based on living solar cells that can repair themselves. There is a group of technicians working on the technology to turn on roads and parking lots into solar cells. Man’s ingenuity knows no boundarys, so the future solar energy looks very bright, if again you will excuse the pun.

greenhouse to massive solar arrays.  It includes the coil of black ABS pipe set atop the pool house that my step father uses to heat his pool.  Today you can buy custom made solar hot water heating panels using the same principle as my pops pipes only he’s been doing it since the 60′s right after my early work on solar heating.

Solar Energy Is Much More Than Solar Panels

When you think of solar energy you think of solar panels and this is quite natural since solar cells do hold the most promise for the future. Currently the downside to solar cells is their inefficiency and cost.  As with all technology the cost goes down and the efficiency is improving continuously as I write.  Since the Sun is the Earth’s greatest supplier of energy and also charges the lowest price it only makes sense that we try to tap into it.

It is in the tradition of pioneering spirit that we seek new ways to tap into this wealth of energy and improve on the advancements we have already made. You don’t have to “believe” in global climate change to see that any advancements made in this field are good for the future of mankind. We will attempt to keep you informed on new breakthroughs as well as what is currently available to the general public.

We hope you find this field as interesting as we do and perhaps you would like to see how you can put some of the information we provide to use.  You do not have to become completely self sustaining as some have but perhaps you might use solar panels to power an RV, (lot of gas used there, any cut backs would be of benefit), or you might use the greenhouse effect to help heat your home.
